A Teflon-coated auger bit for log dowelling, made by Japan’s Star-M (Wood-Owl). The double-edged design and specially shaped tip prevent clogging — chips travel upward steadily throughout the drilling process. The PTFE coating reduces friction and keeps heat in check even when drilling deep holes.

The bit cuts cleanly at both entry and exit. Special hardening prevents bending and cracking.

Total length 610 mm — flute length 520 mm, shank 70 mm, tapered lead screw 10 mm. Made in Japan.

Available in 32 mm and 38 mm diameters.
