PikkuVille features three convex, adjustable and replaceable blades. For blade adjustment, the kit includes a two-part blade adjustment tool that fits all discs in our range.

The convex PikkuVille disc is best suited for adzing finished log walls, but can also be used for other woodworking tasks. The convex blades allow for a variety of surface profiles on both logs and board surfaces, or for shaping tasks such as railing posts. The disc’s size and weight also make it well suited for use with battery-powered angle grinders.

Use with a D-handle is recommended; it gives you better control of the machine, makes the work safer and improves the result.

PikkuVille and its blades are designed and made in Finland.

An angle grinder with variable speed control is recommended. Speed adjustment helps achieve good results across different wood species and varying moisture levels. The best speed is found by experimenting. Variable speed is not essential, however – even battery-powered machines run at sufficient speed to produce a good finish. Check the condition of the blades regularly and sharpen or replace them as needed. Always read both the machine and disc instructions and safety guidelines, and use appropriate protective equipment. Remember to clean the machine’s air intake openings regularly, as chips and dust can quickly block them. If you need advice on using the disc, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
