The disc is designed for shaping wood and other woodworking tasks. It features three flat, adjustable and replaceable blades. For blade adjustment, the kit includes a two-part blade adjustment tool that fits all discs in our range.

The flat disc can be used for light debarking, smoothing log or other timber surfaces, shaping wood, or for tasks such as pointing fence posts. The disc’s size and weight also make it well suited for use with battery-powered angle grinders.

The disc and blades are designed and made in Finland.

An angle grinder with variable speed control is recommended. Speed adjustment helps achieve good results across different wood species and varying moisture levels. The best speed is found by experimenting. Check the condition of the blades regularly and sharpen or replace them as needed. Always read both the machine and disc instructions and safety guidelines, and use appropriate protective equipment. Remember to clean the machine’s air intake openings regularly, as chips and dust can quickly block them. If you need advice on using the disc, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Maximum speed: 10,000 rpm. Minimum operating temperature: −10 °C.

Note: The kit does not include the mounting screws for the D-handle. Depending on the thickness of the machine body, additional washers may be needed between the handle and the machine, and the mounting holes in the handle may need to be enlarged. The handle is made of plastic.
