Log saddle – also known as a log cradle – is designed for adjusting the height of the top end of a round log when using a precision log scribe and setting the log in place with a single-drop scribing method. It speeds up and simplifies the work when a log does not reach from wall to wall, or when the log end simply needs to be raised.

Height is adjusted continuously up and down using a threaded crank, regardless of log size. The log saddle finds the centreline almost automatically – fine adjustment is made by tilting the saddle. Minimum clearance between logs 40 mm.

The construction is solid and durable: parts are laser-cut to precise tolerances, ensuring reliable operation and consistent fit between components. Material: steel. Made in Finland.
