Drawknives are also known as bark spuds, draw knives, and paring knives. This traditional tool for debarking logs is equally useful for other work: cleaning up waney-edged timber and shaping logs during building or renovation.

Lokki (curved drawknife) is ideal for hollowing out log grooves and other curved surfaces. A less common sight on modern worksites, but with plenty of uses.
